I've always wondered why the scrapper from bfa didn't get pushed forward. Like imagine if you could scrap gear for crests. Feel like the uncapping of crests is mostly pointless without making acquisition of crests any quicker. Let me crank out a dozen alts to mix things up.

For crafting recipes that have a chance to drop from Eversong treasures; do you need to be on the character that has the profession you want the recipe from or can they drop for any alt? I need the JC recipe from Eversong Treasures and STILL haven't seen it drop on any toon. 😭

@AliceThePurple Legion was on an 11 week cycled, and while it still had it’s issues and wasn’t perfect. It wasnt nearly as broken and buggy as Midnight.
So 12 should be good.

If Blizz were to increase the patch cycle from 8 weeks, how long of a new patch release cycle sounds reasonable?

If you listen to every social media guru consultant out there, this is inevitably how you are going to write women.
Strong Woman.
She doesn’t need no men.
She instantly great at everything in life.
She is arrogant, bossy, and rude to an extreme!
And if you follow this, you’re following advice of people who have never written a book, developed a game, or created a comic.
And this is why the mainstream media is falling down, nobody believes their “women” are anything more than cardboard cutouts of what women are supposed to be like!
That is why Indie comic creators, game developers, and authors can start to make a killing on writing women as people, instead of bunch of checkboxes!

There are too many fantasy isekai and not enough pure fantasy sword and sorcery anime like Record of Lodoss War. Let a fantasy world live and breathe and stand on its own merit. Don't use an isekaied protagonist as a crutch to immerse viewers. Don't say the world is a video game.

Crazy levels of dishonesty. Take very different shows, claim it's gendered instead of entirely different genres. Women from the first 3 anime weren't in bikinis either. Hell Al isn't even wearing armor in FMA, that's just armor.

@Goblinfights Baldur's Gate 2 had romances (of varying quality) but they weren't the main draw of the game or the characters.

RPGs will not be good again until things like romance are no longer seen as integral components of the formula.

RPG developer Josh Sawyer says Obsidian Entertainment is not against romance systems like the ones in Baldur’s Gate 3. He explained that these features take a huge amount of time, money, and work to create properly. “It’s not like an opposition to their existence,” Sawyer said. “It’s just that I don’t know if we’re going to be able to do it.” Sawyer said romance systems need a lot of extra writing, voice acting, cutscenes, and character reactions. Because of this, Obsidian would rather focus on other parts of a game instead of adding romances that feel incomplete or low quality. He also said players now expect romance content to be as detailed as Baldur’s Gate 3, which raised the standard for RPG games. Sawyer added that Obsidian still cares about emotional stories and character relationships.
