In questa foto c'è il campetto di via Dezza a Milano. Da 8 anni c'è una mamma che ogni giorno si ferma per lasciare sulla rete dietro il canestro un girasole: simboleggia la solarità di quel figlio di 15 anni che ha perso nel 2017 a causa di un malore che lo ha colpito proprio su quel campo, mentre faceva quello che amava di più: giocare a basket. Da un po' di tempo c'è qualcuno che strappa puntualmente i girasoli, e allora la mamma ha deciso di scrivere un messaggio toccante per cercare di spiegare il motivo di quel gesto: "Non strapparmi. Non mi sono più rialzato dopo essere caduto su questo campo. Questo girasole mi ricorda. Grazie, Alessandro". La risposta non è tardata ad arrivare: "Se tutti mettono un fiore per ogni morto, Milano sarebbe una pattumiera". A prescindere dalla non conoscenza della lingua italiana, a prescindere dalla vigliaccheria di chi ha risposto, senza farsi vedere, rovinando quel biglietto, a prescindere da tutto, quello che colpisce maggiormente è la mancanza di totale di umanità. È l'abisso della crudeltà, è lo squallore umano, è l'inspiegabile assenza di empatia di fronte alla peggior tragedia che possa capitare ad una persona, è l'inspiegabile godimento nel distruggere, senza motivo, un girasole che rappresenta l'appiglio al quale è aggrappata una madre che cerca di sopravvivere alla perdita di un figlio. Se questa signora ci sta leggendo, le vogliamo dire che per fortuna non siamo tutti così e per quel che può servire le esprimiamo profonda vicinanza. Sarebbe bello se nei prossimi giorni tante persone potessero portare un girasole. Sarebbe anche bello che il girasole diventasse il simbolo di quel campo. E sarebbe ancor più bello se tu, che hai causato tutto questo, ti rendessi conto che l'unica pattumiera di questa storia è quella che stai dimostrando di avere nell'anima. (fonte notizia: @Corriere)
