The market doesn't care about your plan. It cares about your pain tolerance. 5 weeks of red. The ones who fold here are the ones who fund the recovery for everyone else.

I’ve been having some nostalgic moments lately, especially after posting about my dad the past few days. It made me realize I shared a very vulnerable piece of who I am, and how much he helped shape who I became. So I want to know who help shaped you. The real you. Did they influence you to become a builder? What’s your story? Would love to see pics too. I’ll start again… Let’s get to know the people behind the building. If you are not following come join us…we welcome all!

I just saw a comment about wanting better engagement... leave more comments... 🙄 Exactly why I'm building a builders community. That's just noise to me. I don't want empty replies. I want real talk. 💯 Fight me. 🔥

There seems to be a misconception floating around about what Vertex is. Vertex is NOT public. It’s not a signal service. It doesn’t execute trades. It’s not an indicator. It’s a structural conviction layer that reads the market environment before price confirms — built on institutional-grade data most retail traders never see. Every session, it scans the structural landscape across multiple asset classes and delivers a directional lean backed by real positioning data. Not patterns. Not lagging indicators. Not opinion. It locks in a bias at 9:30 am ET and does NOT change the bias. The conviction signal is strongest at the open and naturally decays over the first few hours of the session. By early afternoon, the structural read has delivered its edge — what happens after that is a different market. Idc if anyone believes in it or not lol time stamps don’t lie, history of it doesn’t lie…esp when it’s posted before the market moves. This is something I post for free and people have made money with. You still need to know your entries and exits. This doesn’t replace that.

GStack does more to try to remember failures and learn from them. Open source lets us create a memory system to self-improve in the open. We're still on a path to a software factory, but we're going to build it in the open.

@RealProductGirl The mistakes are in the content. Nobody learns from the highlight reel. I spent two years grinding side hustles that went nowhere before I found the thing that actually stuck. The struggle wasn't wasted time, it was the filter. People are starving for real. Go all in on it.

The cruelest thing about AI anxiety isn't the fear of being replaced. It's that people are scrambling to prove they're useful on the same terms the machine uses. Faster. Cheaper. More output per hour. Nobody's asking the harder question. What if the stuff that makes you irreplaceable is the stuff that doesn't scale?

btw we’re 6-12 months away from ai tools being able to: - autonomously use any piece of software in the world - effortlessly clone it in a weekend - constantly monitor it for updates - add whatever features you want on top of it all without you ever needing to use your computer
Claude@claudeai

Computer use is now in Claude Code. Claude can open your apps, click through your UI, and test what it built, right from the CLI. Now in research preview on Pro and Max plans.

@asishcodes Squash commits exist for a reason. 16K in a day means either mass-migration tooling or someone really likes seeing green squares.

I've been vibe coding SwiftUI menu bar apps for my new Mac, turns out Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.4 are both competent at Swift programming, no need to even open Xcode! simonwillison.net/2026/Mar/27/vi…

@levelsio When building costs zero, the only filter left is taste. Most people don't have that filter, which is why 90% of these will look identical by next month.

Ok I managed to make the code generated interactive so every idea is really becoming an app now Obvious next question, why not just generate every idea automatically and add Stripe to it and launch them?
@levelsio@levelsio

✨ Every idea on ideasai.com now also generates an app because just a landing page isn't enough of course In the fake Chrome browser you can switch [ Landing | App ] And download both mock ups to build it further

@svpino Using AI to write code you understand and maintain is just coding with better tools. Vibe coding is outsourcing judgment, not labor. Big difference.

Vibe-coding is not about "using AI to write code". The way I understand vibe-coding: • You don't care about the code • You don't review it, you don't test it • You don't care about security • You don't care about technical debt • You don't care about good engineering practices Your only focus is the final product. I think there's a time and a place for everything. Vibe-coding is very useful, but it can also be very damaging.
Santiago@svpino

Vibe-coding feels like magic. Until you're the one cleaning up the magic later.

I was told by very reliable sources here on this platform that: • chatgpt killed google • claude killed software engineering • ai videos killed hollywood • deep learning killed classical ml • long context killed rag • mcp killed apis • laptops killed desktops • tablets killed laptops • native apps killed the web We never learn.

One common issue with personalization in all LLMs is how distracting memory seems to be for the models. A single question from 2 months ago about some topic can keep coming up as some kind of a deep interest of mine with undue mentions in perpetuity. Some kind of trying too hard.

@karpathy The real test is whether you can still hold the original position after hearing the counter. If not, you never had a position. You had a draft.

- Drafted a blog post - Used an LLM to meticulously improve the argument over 4 hours. - Wow, feeling great, it’s so convincing! - Fun idea let’s ask it to argue the opposite. - LLM demolishes the entire argument and convinces me that the opposite is in fact true. - lol The LLMs may elicit an opinion when asked but are extremely competent in arguing almost any direction. This is actually super useful as a tool for forming your own opinions, just make sure to ask different directions and be careful with the sycophancy.

Everyone's building AI wrappers. Almost nobody's building AI that can actually use their computer. The gap between 'chatbot' and 'agent' is the same gap between a map and a driver.

Jensen Huang says we've achieved AGI. His definition: AI that can build a billion-dollar company. Critics say he moved the goalposts. But "AGI" has never had a fixed definition. It shifts to wherever we aren't yet. That's not dishonesty. That's how humans measure things that scare them.
