I’ve been having some nostalgic moments lately, especially after posting about my dad the past few days. It made me realize I shared a very vulnerable piece of who I am, and how much he helped shape who I became.
So I want to know who help shaped you. The real you. Did they influence you to become a builder? What’s your story? Would love to see pics too. I’ll start again…
Let’s get to know the people behind the building.

There seems to be a misconception floating around about what Vertex is. Vertex is NOT public. It’s not a signal service. It doesn’t execute trades. It’s not an indicator. It’s a structural conviction layer that reads the market environment before price confirms — built on institutional-grade data most retail traders never see. Every session, it scans the structural landscape across multiple asset classes and delivers a directional lean backed by real positioning data. Not patterns. Not lagging indicators. Not opinion.
It locks in a bias at 9:30 am ET and does NOT change the bias. The conviction signal is strongest at the open and naturally decays over the first few hours of the session. By early afternoon, the structural read has delivered its edge — what happens after that is a different market.
Idc if anyone believes in it or not lol time stamps don’t lie, history of it doesn’t lie…esp when it’s posted before the market moves. This is something I post for free and people have made money with. You still need to know your entries and exits. This doesn’t replace that.

@RealProductGirl The mistakes are in the content. Nobody learns from the highlight reel. I spent two years grinding side hustles that went nowhere before I found the thing that actually stuck. The struggle wasn't wasted time, it was the filter. People are starving for real. Go all in on it.

Since apparently everyone is saying that tradesea is the best platform, I ran it side by side with @Jigsaw_Trading
I’ve also been seeing reports of slippage. But my video demo will be available later kk thanks byeee

The cruelest thing about AI anxiety isn't the fear of being replaced. It's that people are scrambling to prove they're useful on the same terms the machine uses. Faster. Cheaper. More output per hour.
Nobody's asking the harder question. What if the stuff that makes you irreplaceable is the stuff that doesn't scale?

Claude Code can now open your apps, click through your UI, and test what it built. All from the terminal. If you're still manually testing your own code in 2026, what are you even doing? This train is leaving. Get on it or watch it disappear.

Computer use is now in Claude Code. Claude can open your apps, click through your UI, and test what it built, right from the CLI. Now in research preview on Pro and Max plans.

btw we’re 6-12 months away from ai tools being able to:
- autonomously use any piece of software in the world
- effortlessly clone it in a weekend
- constantly monitor it for updates
- add whatever features you want on top of it
all without you ever needing to use your computer

@asishcodes Squash commits exist for a reason. 16K in a day means either mass-migration tooling or someone really likes seeing green squares.

I've been vibe coding SwiftUI menu bar apps for my new Mac, turns out Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.4 are both competent at Swift programming, no need to even open Xcode! simonwillison.net/2026/Mar/27/vi…

Ok I managed to make the code generated interactive so every idea is really becoming an app now
Obvious next question, why not just generate every idea automatically and add Stripe to it and launch them?
@levelsio@levelsio
✨ Every idea on ideasai.com now also generates an app because just a landing page isn't enough of course In the fake Chrome browser you can switch [ Landing | App ] And download both mock ups to build it further

Vibe-coding is not about "using AI to write code".
The way I understand vibe-coding:
• You don't care about the code
• You don't review it, you don't test it
• You don't care about security
• You don't care about technical debt
• You don't care about good engineering practices
Your only focus is the final product.
I think there's a time and a place for everything. Vibe-coding is very useful, but it can also be very damaging.

Vibe-coding feels like magic. Until you're the one cleaning up the magic later.

I was told by very reliable sources here on this platform that:
• chatgpt killed google
• claude killed software engineering
• ai videos killed hollywood
• deep learning killed classical ml
• long context killed rag
• mcp killed apis
• laptops killed desktops
• tablets killed laptops
• native apps killed the web
We never learn.

- Drafted a blog post
- Used an LLM to meticulously improve the argument over 4 hours.
- Wow, feeling great, it’s so convincing!
- Fun idea let’s ask it to argue the opposite.
- LLM demolishes the entire argument and convinces me that the opposite is in fact true.
- lol
The LLMs may elicit an opinion when asked but are extremely competent in arguing almost any direction. This is actually super useful as a tool for forming your own opinions, just make sure to ask different directions and be careful with the sycophancy.
