It’s a bit rich to see people saying “oh, glitch just wants to make toy commercial cartoons like it’s Reagan’s Saturday morning in the 80s again!!” because merch has already been part of the indie animation model (such as it is) & there’s obviously a big difference between a show with merch & a show created to advertise toys. And this may be two different audiences but many times when I’ve used the phrase “toy commercial cartoon” derisively, I’ve gotten plenty of defensive replies from people who love “toy commercial cartoons” because they’ve been almost synonymous with “action cartoons” their whole lives. They’re probably not watching TADC though. I thought zoomers weren’t supposed to care about artists “selling out”, unlike previous generations?

Sorry if my tweet about Doki’s animation was confusing... I know all digital animation uses keyframes. I meant Doki seems to use more rig/motion graphics animation in After Effects rather than traditional frame-by-frame animation. Sorry to anyone offended.
