BREAKING: We're going to court. The Biden Administration approved the Willow oil project without adequately assessing its climate impacts. It could've properly weighed its options to limit the impact. It could've said no. It didn't. And now, we are filing a lawsuit to stop it.

The Biden Administration approved the controversial #WillowProject on Monday. It could lock the U.S. into another 30 years of oil and gas production and is projected to produce carbon emissions equivalent to 70 new coal power plants. We need to stop it — and we still have time.

And the other obvious solution is to protect and restore #nature. The world's natural carbon sinks capture and store enormous amounts of #carbon. Nature-based solutions can address #biodiversity loss and #climate change and are cost-effective and ready to scale, too!
