The cable also promotes X’s “Community Notes” feature as a crowdsourced way to counter anti-American narratives “without compromising free speech or privacy.” 🔹The directive tells diplomats to work with the U.S. military’s psychological operations unit and use X—owned by Elon Musk—as a key tool, describing it as an “innovative” way to counter disinformation.
