2026 has proven the most bifurcated mrkt in history. More so than Dotcom era. Tech High Low Logic Index achieved highest reading ever, alongside Nasdaq HLLI in Q1, then correction. Since corrective repair, it reaccelerated. Last 3 weeks it's repairing again. Time to sell Tech/Semis was last 3 weeks. Doesn't matter who is President, without a recession to reset prices, all the consumer feels is Year-after-Year cumulative inflation. And cumulative inflation since Covid is roughly 30%. Fortunately, cumulative wage inflation has been 38% over same period. Only 2 recessions have even delivered deflation since 1940s. No, you don't always get deflation with a recession, to the chagrin of many. #economy #CPI

MAG-7 have not only been handing over free cash flow to Semi/Equipment makers, but they have also been giving performance. After an 18-month trend, that may have ended with the rotation out of Semis $SMH and into $MAGS Performance Ratio charts don’t necessarily distinguish any of the ETFs moving up or down at any individual point in time, but rather performance of the ratio. $SPX $QQQ $SOXX $META $AMZN $NVDA $META $GOOGL $AAPL $TSLA $MSFT $CEVA

Corporate insiders sold $77.6 bn worth of shares in 1H 2026, according to EPFR Global Market Intelligence. Thats a 20% jump Y/Y and the 2nd heaviest 6-month stretch of insider selling in more than 20yrs. The only period that topped it was the first half of 2021. My take: the longer profits present themselves, the more Insider trading profits will be extrapolated. This quant failed to achieve the higher probability outcome in the 2-wk forward time period. The 1-month forward time period is increasingly under pressure for failing come July 22nd, based on current and trending price. If profit margins for S&P 500 $SPX have not peaked, then likely that the market itself hasn't peaked. Profit margins tend to peak a year prior to market peak and recession.
