Hello dear friends, I find I can no longer be on his platform, there is too much nastiness around. Thank you @OPS for all your support, it has been a pleasure to be part of your wonderful family.

@GroupKelsall @ops It will be sad to see you go. Don't forget there's an OPS community on this platform, which has 124 like-minded members. Not quite sure how it works as I've only just discovered it, but you could stay, and only look at the community feed? And any others you might find interesting

For #BenchmarkMonday a nice clear cut ⏫ at East Bergholt church, well worth a look inside as well as admiring the benchmark😉

I didn’t have this card of the 8.4m tall menhir of Men-Marz in Brignogan (Finistère) for inclusion in volume 3. It is quite a dramatic close view of the menhir with three women in traditional bonnets providing animation. It was published by J. Krien in Lesneven (now in volume 9).

Hello Monday! The #fruit on this #painting looks good enough to eat! Produced as a #postcard for the Victorian Birmingham Health Food Co, it is very realistic! The artist was Oliver Clare 1853-1927 a member of a family known for their still life #art. Guessing the PC is c1909 😀

Bycliffe Road is part of an ancient trackway that can still be followed from Wharfedale to Nidderdale and beyond to Fountains Abbey and Masham. There are the remains of a Roman camp next to this route near to Malham Tarn. Image David Brown CC BY-SA 2.0

The History Hub's #SundayShot is this lovely view of Bridge Street, #Chester. Our records date the image as circa 1954, although we think it may be earlier looking at the cart!

Hard going and I had to resort to the 50p boxes at the flea market today but I did eventually manage to bag a reasonable haul #postcards
