Tip: Follow the lead of Mary Beame, the wife of the late New York City Mayor Abraham Beame, who purchased kosher meat for Gracie Mansion, and order from your local kosher butcher.
Chef Yehudiel also used coconut milk in his soup, because the basket included lamb bacon (was it from @GrowandBehold?). I use coconut milk as a dairy sub in so many meat dishes.

Thanks @GrowandBehold for a delicious anniversary dinner! I braised their lamb riblets (growandbehold.com/lamb-riblets) with vidalia onions & dates for a bit over 3 hours. Slow cooked to perfection!
