Don’t panic if your first draft is kinda crap. You have plenty of time to make it completely crap with subsequent rewrites

Before AI, I had 5 unfinished projects. After AI, I have 128 unfinished projects.

Opened Google Scholar today and was immediately hit with “AI can now summarize academic articles.” Bro, it’s called an abstract and it already exists.

@PhD_Genie The best papers are the dangerous ones. The ones where I start the review thinking: “Excellent work.” And then panic because if this gets published, my own paper from 2019 becomes “related work.”

For reviewer 2, is a good paper the one that you can reject easily or the one that you need to write a lot of comments before you reject it?

“did you use AI?” has got to be the most insulting writing feedback of the modern age

Reasons to use an em dash: 1) reclaim it from the machines 2) you don't know what a semicolon is for 3) it has incredible vibes
