@MSSfromDA @MrPitbull07 Yes! America is so fantastic that our "low income" people are among the most affluent on the planet. So few Americans understand that or appreciate that.

Mr PitBull Stories
Mr PitBull Stories@MrPitbull07·
Student Anna Villines saw a janitor pull an orange from the trash and she realized how much food was being wasted at school. She said, “It struck me that people were hungry in our own school, and here we were throwing away food that could be used.” She talked to the principal about donating untouched food to a local pantry. That, she learned, wasn’t possible. “He said it would be a violation of health regulations and could affect federal funding for school lunches." She then learned about a school in Africa where they had set up a community refrigerator where students could place uneaten food for others to take. A refrigerator was purchased by the school and now it is stocked daily by students who place their unopened fruit, milk, and packaged items inside instead of throwing them away. And by the end of most school days it is empty - people stopping by it to snag something to eat. “I feel comfort knowing that students in need are able to grab food on the go and nothing gets wasted.” Stories help us imagine ways to solve problems for the hungry in our own communities. You never know who is hungry who is sitting right beside you. Imagine the ways that our lives could shift towards meaning if we focused on serving one another rather than discounting and competing. Our youth deserve a life of meaning and it is stories of hope like this one that means we still have a chance to make an impact and change our ways of showing up.

Americans believe dozens of things that are not true. It bugs me. One of them is "widespread hunger" and "childhood hunger" caused by "poverty." It's a way to manipulate emotions. It's not true. The best, most wholesome foods are so cheap they are just about free. But low income people would mostly rather go to McDonald's or KFC.

@Grumpy_Hoosier @MrPitbull07 She doesn’t look like she goes to a school where people are hungry. The reality is poor nutrition isn’t happening because of food scarcity, but because of lack of education and bad nutritional decisions.

It’s painfully obvious many people have absolutely no fucking idea what the first amendment means. It does NOT mean you are ALLOWED to say WHATEVER you want and NOTHING will happen to you. It means the GOVERNMENT can’t arrest you for engaging in protected speech, full stop. If you say stupid, ignorant, or hateful shit on the Internet or in public, and private citizens come at you, NOBODY is violating your freedom of speech. If you have a show and people wanna boycott your sponsors, NOBODY violated your first amendment. If you walk down the street calling black people the hard R, and businesses want to kick you out, or people want to fight you, NOBODY violated your first amendment. That being said, illegal actions taken against you by a private citizen no matter how bad your speech is, is ALSO wrong, and those people are also NOT protected. However, they might not give a fuck about catching a charge, so choose your “free speech” carefully and don’t bitch about how your mouth wrote checks your ass couldn’t cash. Some of you fucking morons seem to genuinely not understand this, so let me dumb this down in summary. You are FREE to say whatever you want, as long as it’s not illegal (death threats, etc), but you are NOT protected from the FIND OUT portion of the FUCK AROUND equation. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This guy seems really passionate about his message. But the message itself is a little vague. I guess it's something like, "You must be polite to black people in public or expect consequences, including a violent attack."

@BakerBroken Lovely tradition. @grok Can you give me a short paragraph or two about the meaning of 3 candles in Denmark in memory of the German occupation? I suspect May 4 is an important date because maybe that is the day of German surrender in 1945.

@DoctorTurtleboy Maybe they don't know what "refute" means. Or maybe they do and they are intentionally using it wrong.

On April 19, 2023, the Norfolk DA's Office put out a statement in response to my first installment of the Canton Coverup series, stating that they would "refute the assertions in that motion." The motion was the April 12 filing in which Jennifer McCabe was revealed for the first time to have Google "hos long to die in cold" at 2:27 AM. They certainly seemed confident they would refute that, but why? On May 5, 2023, Jessica Hyde emailed Brian Tully for the first time in response to his expert shopping email. If they hadn't spoken on April 19, how could he be so sure that Hyde would "refute the assertions in that motion?" Why did Brian Tully then tell Jessica Hyde why HE believed the 2:27 time stamp was a mistake? Why did he tell Hyde that he would only hire her if her expert report supported Trooper Guarino's testimony? Why did she then offer him a 25% discount and blame it on time zones before even looking at the motion? The Commonwealth never sought the truth about that Google search. It was inconvenient and screwed up their quest to lynch Karen Read. So they found Jessica Hyde, told her exactly what they wanted her to say, said that they would only pay her if she supported what Guarino said, and she was coming up with explanations for the Google search before even looking at the raw data. Michael Morrissey could't scream "HIRE HER" fast enough.

This isn’t about partisanship. It’s about my view being right, and their view being wrong. People either believe in the founding principles of the Declaration of Independence enshrined in the Constitution, or they don’t. If you wear a uniform, and divide and distinguish, then I will attack you like a white blood cell attacks an infection. If you are on the outside trying to do the same to people on the inside, that goes for you too. That is the essence of the fight here. This isn’t some struggle about which political candidate you want to vote for who gives you the most free stuff. It’s about the sanctity of the institution itself. Those who divide are wrong. Those who unify are right. This isn’t a partisan debate. This is about the soul of the country itself. So we are right and they are wrong. No amount of Marxist indoctrination will make me think otherwise. I will die on this hill.

During Trump 1.0, there was a very small but very vocal minority of liberal active duty military members openly espousing anti-Trump views on social media (then-referred to as “MilTwitter”) — which was condoned and even supported in some cases by their chain-of-command. Because of that support, they wielded outsized influence in the media. It was quite shocking at the time and their vitriol then still dwarfs the active duty members who dare voice their support for Trump today (knowing the left is still ready to destroy them). So while historically, the active duty troops kept their views off social media, I also view pro-Trump support from active duty members today as a course correction of sorts. Or at least something sowed by the same folks complaining about it the loudest now.
