Wanna know an easy way to shit your pants? Set a scissorlift where you need it and not realize you have 1 wheel overhanging the floor drain slope. Extend said scissor lift, and when your about 20ft up, move the wrong way and feel the scissorlift tilt and put that overhung wheel back on the floor. Scissorlift go down so fast.

As of this morning, the @OregonSOS posted statewide primary turnout at 11.5%, with 356,963 ballots returned so far out of 3.1M eligible voters. Oregon historically sees a major surge in ballot returns during the final week of the election—especially in the last few days before Election Day. In the 2024 Oregon primary, final turnout ended around 35.8% across the state. If your ballot is still sitting on the counter, now’s the time to get it filled out and turned in. Please don’t sit this one out.

Last week, two grizzly bear attacks claimed the life of a hiker in Glacier National Park and seriously injured two others in Yellowstone National Park. These tragedies are a sobering reminder that grizzly bear populations have recovered well beyond sustainable levels, and it is past time for the federal government to delist them and give states the management tools they need to protect both people and wildlife. Delist the grizzly.

Know what? Fuck it. Let's pick several states, e.g., Virginia, Minnesota, California, and let them have all-black voting districts. In fact, let's go one further: Let's force them to only elect black mayors, governors, state reps, and congressmen. Black police and fire chiefs. Black sheriffs. Black school boards. All black teachers and social workers. All black police, fire crews, and deputies. Heads of all municipal services, and all employees, required to be black. In fact, let's force them all to be black women. No whites allowed in any position of power or authority, at all. For 10 years. No one is allowed to leave the selected states. If they want it so bad, let them have it. In spades. After 10 years, we can return to the burned-out husks of wasteland they create.

If you buy an old squarebody and it isn't rebuilt from the ground up, get ready to wrench because they are old as dirt and the build quality on them wasn't all that great to begin with. Don't get me wrong I like them, but know what you're getting into

You people know you don’t have to spend $100k of a POS modern truck right? This truck rebuilt from the ground up, stick shift, all stainless exhaust and fasteners, etc. etc. went for $20k like 10 years ago.

The next Democratic White House does not need a court reform commission like some college seminar. We need action. We need term limits for Justices. We need to expand this morally bankrupt Court from 9 to 13.

@RoKhanna Oh. OH. Court packing. THAT is your big move. Sir, I am a science teacher. I grade papers written by sixteen-year-olds who plagiarize their homework and at least have the decency to change a few words first. You did not even do THAT. Here's your history lesson, free of charge, since apparently no one in your staff has a library card. 1937. Franklin Delano Roosevelt -- a Democrat, since we are keeping score -- tried the EXACT same scheme. Court wasn't ruling his way. New Deal programs were getting struck down. So what did he do? He proposed adding one new justice for every sitting justice over age 70. Could have ballooned the bench to FIFTEEN seats. You know what happened next? His OWN party killed it. Buried it. The Democratic-controlled Senate Judiciary Committee called the plan -- and I want you to read this slowly -- "a needless, futile, and utterly dangerous abandonment of constitutional principle." They voted it down 70 to 20. His. Own. Party. The Democrats of 1937 had more spine than the entire current caucus combined. That is not a compliment to the current caucus. And then -- THEN -- Biden's Autopen set up a whole Presidential Commission on Supreme Court reform in 2021. You just called that a "college seminar." Their OWN commission. Their OWN scholars. Produced a 294-page report. Declined to recommend expansion. Said it could, quote, "undermine the Court's legitimacy." So the adults in your own movement said no. Twice. Across ninety years. And you are here calling for action. This is the same energy as touching a hot stove, burning your hand, leaving for eighty-seven years, coming back, and going -- you know what, I think it might be different THIS time. Spoiler: it is not different this time. You are a Mumpsimus of the highest order. Look it up. I will wait. Quinn's Law #22: Liberals love democracy unless it doesn't go their way. Quinn's Law #26: Liberals like the courts unless the decision doesn't go their way. I would explain the pattern to you further, but I left my crayons at home and I genuinely do not think we have enough hours in the day. You called this Court "morally bankrupt." Interesting framing. Where is your bill for Congressional term limits, by the way? You have been in office since 2017. The Court has had nine justices since 1869 -- that is 157 years -- and somehow the COURT is the institution with the credibility problem. Not the body where some members have been in Washington so long their principles are still on backorder. Not the chamber where the only thing a few of them have reliably passed is gas and bad legislation. You are not leading here. You are the hood ornament on a clown car pointing at the windshield and calling it a vision. Nine justices is not a bug. It is the FEATURE. It is 157 years of institutional stability designed to make sure whichever party holds power cannot simply manufacture favorable rulings on demand. A court that gets resized every time the opposition wins a few cases is not a court. It is a rubber stamp. History has a name for countries that do that. It is not a flattering name. The answer to losing cases before the Supreme Court is to make better constitutional arguments. I understand that might feel like an unfamiliar concept when you are used to a party that confuses volume with logic, but give it a shot sometime. @JoJoFromJerz @GuntherEagleman @catturd2 IF you agree: LIKE this post so the algorithm shows it to people who need to read it. SHARE this -- every share matters. COMMENT below -- should any party be allowed to pack the courts every time rulings don't go their way? Tell me. And if you want MORE of this -- the history, the data, the science, the receipts -- JOIN Bski's Classroom community on X or YouTube. But what do I know -- I am only a published science teacher and medically retired Army combat medic who apparently absorbed more American political history before breakfast than @RoKhanna has managed in nine years in Congress. #MAGA #Veterans #Trump

The drama that Douglas County Republican Party has fabricated over Michaela, Steve and Ben is pathetic, especially when they voted without a qurom to kick them out as PCP's. I happened to be doing the recall at that time and the party headquarters kept bombarding me daily how bad these people were and I refused to listen to them. In fact I was told that if I crossed the line. I might find myself being sued. Blackmail I call it.

Although my support and endorsement for Danielle Bethell remains strong, I cannot sit silently on the sidelines while a catalyst-style campaign continues to slander and attack those who expose campaign rhetoric and support grassroots conservative candidates. The ongoing personal attacks, false accusations, and divisive tactics aimed at Republicans who simply hold differing views are damaging to the integrity of the party and to the voters who deserve honest debate. This same group supporting Ed Diehl has labeled Chris Dudley “pro-choice” as a political smear, dismissed Christine Drazan — a leader with decades of experience — as a “RINO,” and falsely referred to Medina as an “insurrectionist.” These reckless accusations are not leadership, and they are not conservative values. They also continue to attack Douglas County Commissioner Candidate, Steve Hammerson who is exposing the corruption in Douglas County. Campaigns should stand on policy, voting records, vision, and transparency — not intimidation, censorship, and childish name-calling. If a campaign cannot defend its positions without attacking the character of others, that reflects weakness, not strength. Republican voters deserve better than political theater and smear tactics. They deserve honesty, accountability, and candidates willing to debate issues openly instead of hiding behind online attacks and anonymous rhetoric.
