The issue with being the smartest person in the room, and believing it is when you say something stupid you don't get pulled up enough to reign yourself in. Simon is too used to being the go to guy on the show for trying to needle and ridicule

Is literally advocating for extremist behaviour under the same parsdigm. A man can commit an act of violence sbout his religion and people can now look at where his victims located themselves... It stops being about football, Arsenal and clicks doesn't it.

@talkSPORT @terryflewers @AFTVMedia this one Simon Jordan hot take needs to be retracted. To rationalise an act of violence at the game and sit there and tell the world that football for someone is like a religion... Then say the bigger crime is sitting amongst West Ham fans

@jaystoker Do you remember the days when Arsenal had to be stronger? Like when Bellerin got knocked out during a corner? Caicedo and Cucurella play the game with League One levels of aggression and Chelseas red card record is nearly an actual record lol But it's us who get "dark arts".

Have we seen a double yellow since Martinelli? Have we seen a second yellow for kicking the ball away the way Declan Rice did...? Have we seen as many yellows for kicking the ball away FURTHER than Declan Rice did? As I said, the internet has the receipts.

We would definitely give some away but we would get way more in return. So you end up with a situation where the not biased against Arsenal football mouths are trying to think up even more ways to take away the balance they pretend they want. Couple questions...

@terryflewers am looking forward to your segment on Simon Jordan rationalising the throwing of a football fan down the stairs lol He said the bigger crime is Arsenal fans sitting in the West Ham section. That's todays hot take.

Not a very internal internal discussion is it... Funny how this kind of thing becomes public from a private capacity. Might want to look into the breach of confidentiality in that roomm since you're using the word "official".
MatchDay Central@MatchDCentral

🚨Excl : West Ham United are internally discussing the possibility of filing an official complaint to the Premier League over refereeing decisions in their crucial clash against Arsenal. Serious concerns behind the scenes. 👀

@terryflewers this kind of sums up a lot of the calls we are seeing from the PGMOL
Troll Touchline@TrollTouchline

🚨💣 | Alan Shearer on the Bernardo Silva and Potential Penalty incident in the Manchester City vs Brentford game: “It’s moments like these where you really have to look at the consistency of the officiating, because for the life of me, I cannot understand how we’ve walked away from that game with those decisions standing as they did. You look at the penalty shout for Brentford there’s clear contact there he pushed him. In any other area of the pitch, that’s a foul, yet somehow it’s overlooked when it matters most in the eighteen-yard box. It’s a massive letdown for a side that worked as hard as Brentford did today. And then we have to talk about the incident with Bernardo Silva. We’re told the threshold for violent conduct is high, but when you see that kind of intent, you expect the ultimate sanction. A yellow card feels like a massive escape. It’s hard to sit here and argue that if that were a player from a club lower down the table, or even another top-six side, the outcome wouldn't have been a straight red. We brought VAR in to eliminate these 'clear and obvious' errors, to ensure that the big calls are getting the scrutiny they deserve. But when you see the same patterns emerging, it leaves fans and players feeling like there’s a different set of rules for different shirts. It’s simply not good enough for a league of this standard”

Imagine looking for offside there... You have to really want a "certain" outcome.

Is kind of showing your hand that you're just looking at any player as though their game is the same and should be. Which frankly is stupid.

My pass is likely lofted toward Gyokeres either going towards the goal and hoping to go over Bassey, going all the way over to Trossard or going towards the referee. Whilst I think people are correct that Odegaard doesn't play that pass I think saying it as a bash?

I believe in balance. A left footer playing that pass is a different scenario in 2 key ways. ONE. The closest Fulham player is goal side and more of an obstacle. TWO. The trajectory of the ball will favour Bassey and be travelling away from Gyokeres.

That is why Odegard is the most Artetacoded kind of player ever. 9.9/10 out of times, Odegard recycles the ball there and Fulham settles back into their defensive shape.
