Just watched the Mic’d Up of the VAR from the West Ham Arsenal game. Addressed Trossard on Pablo is a moot point, confirmed Rice on Mavropanos is likely a foul but the Raya foul happens first. What concerns me is they’ve not even looked at the shirt pull, so if they’d have given the goal then a clear factor wouldn’t have been touched on. That’s actually the scary part. They got the right decision but missed key evidence 😅

@TheAthleticFC It was the biggest failure in Var history. There is not one situation where this is ruled no goal, free kick Arsenal. The correct call is either go with ref decision, or the best call... no goal, foul on the midget Trossard, PK for West Ham.

Absolute cap. You have to have an entire dissertation of tweets if you put this many words into an unbiased and focused critique of the PGMOL and their inconsistent decisions across the board to make it not about Arsenal. It's like people forget the internet has receipts.

Charles come on. You know it’s not about that single decision. That decision was right, we all know it. It’s about the fact Arsenal have done it in every single game this season and made much of it an unwatchable procession. Hiding behind this ‘headloss’ and ‘everybody hates Arsenal’ nonsense like everybody of an Arsenal persuasion is doing is perpetuating something that doesn’t exist. There’s no bias against Arsenal, most neutrals and non-neutrals want Arsenal to win it over City (I’m in that category) but this season has seen an all-time low in refereeing standards. To see such an important game decided on such an event, for five minutes to be taken on something that’s meant to be clear and obvious, only to arrive at a completely contradictory conclusion to how most of this season has been officiated.. that’s a disaster for the league, isn’t it? Especially on top of the 115 farce.
