Can’t be Mad at Maxx he’s done everything he could to help the team and the Raiders got a lot for him. I’m just glad I can actually get his jersey now without causing harm to my skin.

@Gtwitten @derekcarrqb Absolutely true. Crosby is valuable. That’s why this conversation exists. But roster building is about choices. And that leadership hole only exists temporarily. BTW, I’m in no way saying this HAS to happen. I’ve just come around to seeing it as a viable path.

I've come around to this Maxx Crosby trade concept. In a perfect world, he retires a Raider. In the world LV is in- where they're about to draft a QB #1- I think this may be a necessary move. The Raiders were dead last, on offense, in EPA/play. The QB, alone, won't solve that. In fact, they can potentially *ruin* the QB by not investing around him. They HAVE to get a WR. They HAVE to upgrade the OL. Those aren't luxury decisions. They HAVE to provide Mendoza with a better environment. The picks for Crosby will help with that. And they'll help get the team back to a place where they can reshift focus back to the defense faster.

Ideally, yes. But that doesn't mean you pass on a dynamic player (and Moore is) just because it's not a perfect amount of games. If your group is sold on the player, you take him. (Also, he's not 24 with less than 20 starts. He's 20. Big difference)
