I’m happy to announce that my former PhD student and postdoc Dr. Xinzhou (Shawn) Ge @ge_xinzhou will join the Department of Statistics at Oregon State University @OregonState as an Assistant Professor this fall. Xinzhou led our work on p-value-free FDR control. Congrats to him!

This looks interesting! There's certainly a lack of sequence-level simulators for single-cell data, & the fact that scReadSim can perform multi-omic single-cell simulation will be very useful. I do think that @hrksrkr's minnow tool is relevant related work academic.oup.com/bioinformatics…
