Anonymity has its benefits, not least of which is a clear divide between reality and online. I think for that reason it's probably wise. I don't wish to infer you are anything you are not. But as a "take me as I come" type of guy I can't help but wonder who you are Gigi. Whomever you are, you are polite, kind and generous with both. Thank you.

I imagine that is true, but maybe not as wide a gap as you may imagine. Perhaps you know something the public does not? We are lucky in that we have no preconceptions of anyone in this space. Being new to this argument publicly has given us the ability to take people as they present themselves to us. People quickly reveal who they are and their motives if you just let them talk.

You know... i have no idea who some of these folks are. The beauty of X i guess. But there really isnt any need to hide. If anyone involved with our case, or THE case is on here talking to us but hiding who they are, well instantly they are cowards and liars and snakes. Why hide? Unless like us, they're people that want answers but fear the response we got. Those people we pity and want to help. Everyone knows where we are, they could call, they could write. Anyone that wants to talk to us is welcome, but anyone doing it in a shady way will be judged as above. We are honest, we are on the level and we don't hide. Folks that do are who they are, but brave they are not.

Maybe you haven't heard all we have said on this, I wouldn't expect you to have. We believe the conviction unsafe and we question the fairness of the investigation and the trial. We are not part of a freedom campaign, but we have been clear on our thoughts about this case. We feel she deserves a retrial. Christopher's book is a must read for anyone with questions about the convictions.

Fair question, so a straight answer. Why publicly? Because privately didn't work. We asked the hospital questions for years, quietly, through the proper channels. The meeting where we finally learned some of what happened to our daughter came through the police, not the hospital. Ten years of doing it the polite way earned us silence. Public is what's left when private fails. Why now? Honestly, the timing wasn't ours. After the podcast people decided our family was an invention before we'd said a word. You can't stay quiet while someone tells the world you don't exist. So we introduced ourselves. What do I hope other parents speak up about? Their own records. Their own memories. Their own experiences. If a family has unanswered questions about their own care on that unit, they're entitled to talk openly about them, entitled to ask them openly and entitled to their own notes. That's the whole of it. Why exercise the right at all? Because a hospital's duty of candour isn't supposed to depend on whether families keep quiet. Ours only got answers by refusing to. We'd rather the next family didn't need ten years.

@GuerrillaCarl No one should harass you, Carl. Your experience is yours to tell. Aside from having a right to tell it, why do so publicly? You've said you hope other parents speak up - about what, & why? &why know? Those are ?s I still have about you. You do have the right, but why exercise it?

Yes it does, I agree. And we have said all along that we only have the word of the men we spoke to. We can not be 100% sure of anything because the "institutions " lie and cover up and avoid. It's the boy who cried Wolf. But if they are lying then so are the police as they knew what they told us. Again totally possible, but I tend towards not believing the Hospital and the Police are lying to us alone while playing it straight with other parents. God help those men if they did lie to us. And I will Gigi, shes very huggable! Thank you for always being respectful and polite 🙏

@GuerrillaCarl Thanks for the explanation, Carl. Not doubting you, but the lead consultant, even in 2019, saying Letby saved your daughter feels inconsistent with their other statements so I look forward to seeing the full revelation. Give Jessica a hug for me
