Isabella Agrusso is the Cyclone Club Student-Athlete of the Week!
-Led the Cyclones in points last week with a goal against Creighton and an assist against Drake
-Game-winning goal in the final two minutes to defeat Creighton and give the Cyclones their 200th program win
This amazing group of women — the Iowa State Women’s Soccer Team — aren’t just strong on the field, they’re setting the bar off it too.
Last night, they celebrated not only their sisterhood, but earning the highest team GPA and completing the most community service hours of any team at ISU.
Proud of @IAgrusso and every one of these incredible student-athletes. ❤️🌪️ #CycloneSoccer#StudentAthletes#ProudDad
Welcome, Isa Agrusso!
Isa spent her youth career locally playing for the Nationals, where she was a starting defender for a National Championship-winning team during her Junior year of high school. Isa had a standout youth career, which also included a call-up to the Mexican U-17 Youth National team camp.
In her freshman year of college, Isa was a part of the Michigan State team that won a Big 10 Regular Season Championship before transferring to Iowa State in the Big 12 for her sophomore season and beyond. This past year, Isa logged over 1,400 minutes of action, one of just four players on the team to reach the accomplishment. Additionally, she was named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team in 2024 and was on the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in both 2023 & 2024.
We can’t wait to have Isa on our first USL-W team and are excited about everything she brings to us on and off the field. Welcome to the Union!

Not all highlights are a goal or assist; sometimes it's just about putting in the work.
1. Helping my 2/RB under pressure
2. Tracking back on restart, win the ball, and start our own attack

Closed out the @GAcademyLeague season strong with a draw and a win, scoring 8 goals in 2 games! Finished the last 3 games with 2 goals and an assist. It wasn’t always easy, but we grew tremendously through the process. Excited to get to work with my @MarianSoccer squad! 💪⚽
A big shoutout to our Sporting United FC teams for coming together to volunteer at @ForgottnHarvest. Giving back to the community and making a difference is what life is all about.
A big congratulations to all the students accepted into Marian today! We’re thrilled to welcome you into our sisterhood with open arms and pray that your time here will be academically, spritually, and personally transformative. Welcome home, Class of 2029!
