Additionally, to be absolutely and unequivocally clear, the fires in west Kelowna, Kelowna and the RDCO started on Crown Land crushing dozens of homes backing onto Crown Land.
The areas ‘treated’ by municipalities were roasted because the province has been absent for decades.

Critical funding provided by @HCTFBC for the important work we do on Juvenile Sturgeon. That funding comes from user license fees from the Sturgeon Conservation surcharge needed for fishing above mission bridge in the freshwater section.

During the #BCStorm, amazing flood relief efforts were provided by private citizens & organizations like @GuidesAssoc, who rushed into the flood waters to rescue stranded travellers by boat, deliver food, transport people to critical medical appts, & save sturgeon & salmon. [1/3]
