Casually discussing WW3 and the destruction of a Country which is home to 90,000,000 people, whilst stood next to giant Easter Bunny is next level insanity.

The president sat in the public gallery, on a bench, surrounded by ordinary citizens. There was no announcement of his arrival. No Hail to the Chief. Instead, Trump came in quietly, shuffled around looking for a seat, and waited in silence with the rest of us for the final 10 minutes before arguments began. I was 50 feet away from him. It was stunning. Trump looked small on that wooden bench in the grandeur of the courtroom, sitting below the nine justices. It was a stark reminder of how our founders structured our government. Trump is not a king. He cannot ignore the Constitution. And the Supreme Court has the last word on what he can and cannot do.
Scott Thuman@ScottThuman

The court sketches of President Trump sitting in at the Supreme Court today as justices weighed his actions to limit 'birthright citizenship'. Trump is the first sitting President to attend proceedings. He stayed just about an hour and left during the defense's arguments. After court adjourned, Trump posted on Truth Social: “We are the only Country in the World STUPID enough to allow ‘Birthright’ Citizenship!” Actually, about three dozen countries, nearly all of them in the Americas, guarantee citizenship to children born on their territory, per Associated Press.

Today Native Americans do NOT obtain birthright citizenship through the 14th Amendment. They only get citizenship through a 1924 law. Gorsuch got the SG to admit that if the Trump admin's argument is right, Native Americans probably would have birthright citizenship under 14A.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

GORSUCH: Do you think Native Americans are birthright citizens under your test? SAUER: Ah, I think ... so. I have to think that through.

Tom Nichols spent months reading Washington’s letters and walking the halls at Mount Vernon. The article is long. The argument lands in one sentence he almost buries at the end. “Washington personally took up arms to stop a rebellion against the United States. Trump encouraged one.” The specifics behind that sentence: In 1794, armed farmers in western Pennsylvania refused to accept federal law. Washington issued a proclamation calling it treasonable opposition, raised a militia of more than 12,000 men, and personally led them toward the rebellion. He was the only sitting president ever to lead troops in the field. The rebellion dissolved. He pardoned two convicted insurgents after the legal process completed — not before. In his Farewell Address, Washington warned the republic that “sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction” would manipulate public emotion for “his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty.” He wrote that sentence in 1796. He could not name the man. Nichols named him. John Kelly stood at Mount Vernon two years ago and summarized Washington’s greatest contribution to American democracy in three words. “He went home.” Every president since has understood that sentence. Every president but one.

Statement from the family of Alex Pretti, Michael and Susan Pretti:  “We are heartbroken but also very angry.    Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the hero term lightly. However his last thought and act was to protect a woman.    The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He has his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down all while being pepper sprayed.    Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you”

Just because you are conservative, it doesn't mean you have to be okay with what's happening in Minnesota. Even if you voted based on immigration issues, it doesn't mean you have to be okay with what's happening in Minnesota. It's okay to say it's bad and shouldn't be happening

Okay so, 1) an American citizen exercises his First Amendment right to peaceably assemble and his Second Amendment right to bear arms, out of apparent concern that a tyrannical federal government is violating basic protections afforded under the Constitution 2) after coming to the aid of an unarmed woman who's been shoved to the ground by a masked federal agent, the citizen -- impaired by pepper spray, holding nothing but a cell phone -- is dragged to the ground by a group of other masked agents 3) during the scuffle, shortly after one masked agent removes the weapon from the restrained citizen's person, several other masked agents open fire, unloading 10 shots from close range and killing the unarmed citizen 4) despite video evidence, a spokesman for the federal government says the citizen approached agents with a gun, provoked a violent confrontation, and planned to "massacre" law enforcement You really want to defend this? Go ahead. Just know, you look like an absolute fool.
