La nuova panzana dei populisti si chiama “remigrazione”. Ma siamo sicuri di sapere cosa vuol dire, quante persone coinvolgerebbe o anche se è semplicemente possibile? Ascoltate e datemi la vostra opinione.

@riccmilani @michele_mo70456 @CarloCalenda Può pagarselo e quando arriva il permesso di soggiorno è coperto. Immagino poi tu ti riferisca all assistenza sanitaria ma il welfare non è solo quello. Per accedere al resto si puo mettere un minimo di anni di residenza

Spanking is for conservatives what race realism is for liberals. In both cases the scientific literature and logic are overwhelmingly against them, but their position is so core to their understanding of reality that they will just stick their fingers in their ears and yell at you if you ever try to explain any of it.

@GunnarCaesar No, sto dicendo che l'Italia offre una garanzia notevole su quel debito stellare, per questo l'Europa redarguisce l'Italia tanto quanto un Paese con un 100esimo del debito italiano. Certo che prima o poi si dovrebbe iniziare a ripagarne almeno una parte.

La definizione di "chiagnere e fottere". L'Italia ha circa 11.4 trilioni di € di capitale privato, a fronte di 3 trilioni di € di debito pubblico.

Situazione italiana, ad occhio e croce. - Domanda per analisi serie: zero. - Giovani sono pochi, non hanno soldi e nessuna voglia di protestare (zero manifestazioni per il loro futuro negli ultimi 20 anni). Questa è la parte più grave imho. - Boomers saldamente davanti alla tv e zero domanda per cambiamenti. - Giornalismo è andato, livello è basso e quasi sempre militante (una piaga perché rinforza i biases delle persone). Risultato: declino saldamente in controllo. Posizioni estreme sempre più richieste, declino può anche accelerare. Dove sbaglio?

I giovani non protestano per 2 motivi: 1) chi vuole protestare non trova nessun referente politico o istituzionale che ascolti davvero i motivi della protesta quindi, nel migliore dei casi, sono proteste che non portano a nessun cambiamento. Di solito le frasi che vanno per la maggiore sono "se non ti sta bene vattene" (motivo per il quale io 12 anni fa e migliaia di giovani ogni anno emigrano all'estero) o "non rompere i c... che qui funziona in questo modo". 2) I boomer (genitori e nonni) soffocano ogni ideologia che può muovere una protesta dei figli, indottrinandoli ad accettare lo status quo, fornendogli vitto e alloggio fino a 30 anni, aiutandoli a trovare un posto di lavoro tramite amici/parenti, comprandogli case e macchine con i loro soldi. Questi giovani, quindi, campano di rendita senza nessun incentivo alla protesta..

"Gentle parenting" is simply feminine style emotional abuse of children who have no way of coping with the implied threats there Spanking (done correctly) is a clear "this is a specific thing you need to learn not to do" whereas "gentle parenting" is an ominous threat to withdraw affection unless the child figures out the answer to the riddle of what is vexing the woman inflicting this treatment

I've seen a lot of pushback against this, most of which boils down to an assertion that the quantitative difference between a calm slap on the butt and a full-on punch in the face automatically translates into a qualitative difference. Personally I don't accept this argument. Physical violence is obviously worse when it happens with higher frequency and intensity, but it doesn't stop being physical violence when it's comparatively infrequent or less intense. If you tried to correct the behavior of a coworker by physically striking them, you would at minimum be charged with assault regardless of the blow's location or intensity. You wouldn't be able to wiggle your way out of the charges by saying that your coworker wouldn't listen or that their workplace behavior put their own life at risk. If your children are the only people you physically strike, the message you send is that you respect them less than you respect everyone else -- even perfect strangers. Sam is right about the consequences of using physical violence against children. It's a dose dependent environmental toxin, and so more violence does more damage than less violence, but violence against them still causes lasting damage regardless of quantity. If you use violence against your children when they do things you don't like, their main takeaways will be: 1. People who say they love you will hurt you. 2. You can avoid being hurt by lying to people who say they love you. 3. People who say they love you will treat you worse than they treat everybody else. You're absolutely kidding yourself if you think this won't have a profound impact on your child's future choice of friends or spouse. I've seen it said that it's necessary to use physical violence as a deterrent to keep children from repeatedly placing themselves into mortal danger but I have three kids under 10 years old and this has never been my experience. In fact, the more intrinsically dangerous something is -- running into the road, for example -- the less I even have to speak to my kids about it. They've all fallen down in the driveway before. They get it.
