@Mighty_Gunners_ I expect nothing from Chelsea. No Reece James, no Enzo Fernandez, City flying high and with a full week's rest... I think City win comfortably tomorrow (3-0 or 4-0).

It’s going to go right down to the wire, but you would have taken being in our position at the start of the season.

@Mighty_Gunners_ Oh for sure! If you told me in August that we'd be in this position at this stage, I'd have taken it. Just the way the season - and certain games in particular - played out, it feels like we've missed a few clear opportunities to really prove ourselves.

Been an Arsenal fan for almost 50 years now but I have never ever booed them. Even after losing 8-2, 6-0, 5-1 etc. If the fans booing the team after the whistle had put as much energy into backing them during the game, the maybe things may have been different. Modern days fans...we are not the same.

@Mighty_Gunners_ They do for sure. Everton and Bournemouth away, Villa at home. I just worry that if next weekend's result goes south, we might crumble mentally and be behind in the race even before they play those games, which they would then be playing on top confidence.

@Mighty_Gunners_ I feel like a win is needed now to truly make our squad believe in themselves properly. A draw would be okay, but I'm not sure it'll be enough of a shot to the arm as we (the players, I mean) currently need.

@FunnyGooner Very true, also need to consider the effect of the constant criticism and narrative on the players mental health too.
It’s not an excuse, it’s reality. No other club gets this level of criticism - Arsenal get it wether winning or losing.

The players are knackered, yes. But it's their mentality doing them in. The FUNDAMENTALS of our system are being forgotten.
They're either all hurt, or they're bricking it. But it needs to stop *rapidly*

As usual, I was massively impressed with Andoni Iraola and his tactics.
He will win *everything* one day. The bravery he gets his players to play with is nothing like the usual minnow bus park. He *attacks* teams, no matter their stature.

As a club we have not won the league in 22 years. The pressure on these players is massive.
They have taken us closer than ever.

Arteta has played the best team available to him. The players on the pitch are responsible for this result.
He made changes early all the changes we were asking for. We just have tired legs and minds at the moment.
