Two aircraft were involved in the incident. One of the aircraft went down in western Iraq, and the second landed safely. This was not due to hostile fire or friendly fire. @JoaoHNeuhaus @CENTCOM Refueling large aircraft like C17, B-52, Raven, AWACS cause a bow wave if they approach too quick the air they push off their nose pushes the Tankers tail up and thus the nose down. It can scare the crap out of you. It happens quickly
