@Drklwrs 18° op thermometer is een ijskelder. Trouwens een warme woning op 22 houden kost heus niet zo veel meer energie. Eens muren en meubilair zijn opgewarmd.

Tires with 11,000 miles and a nail. Firestone told me they are not repairable. Firestone said this is not repairable because of the location and that I would need a new tire. It's a slow leak, about 1-2 psi a day. I am in disbelief that this is not repairable.. Can I not just get a fix kit? 🤧

I love engineers who think of the minutest of the details. This is functional and aesthetic. A well balanced design. Don’t come commenting “but what about the cost to manufacture this”. It’s not always about that.

@efarmerdot @samfullman @LLBiggers Why bring up the comparison with something that is never going to exist, the battery powered airliner. Do you actually realize how efficiënt (miles per gallon per seat) jetliners cruise at subsonic speeds. Also good luck with your batteries at -60°C.

@samfullman @LLBiggers Exactly! And you only take on the fuel required for the flight mission. Besides you would never be able to store the needed energy in a flying plane.

@LLBiggers Twice that efficiency. The jet fuel goes from 6 pounds to 0 pounds within the system producing 34 kwh. The li ion battery still weighs the same the whole time.

@GuntherD8 @nl75 Zitten er regelmatig tussen welke extreem trillen, binnendelen waarvan de verdamper binnen 2 jaar lek is. Printplaten welke herhaaldelijk sneuvelen.

Airco buitenunit na 5 jaar kapot. Reparatie 900 euro. Voor 1100 euro heb je een nieuwe. 🤡 #weggooimaatschappij Ik koop zelf eerst een nieuwe besturingsplaat a 100 euro op ebay
