Did all of you know that the US Government under Obama made it legal to experiment on the citizens of the United States without their consent?
Under Section 3024 of the 21st Century Cures Act, the FDA can allow medical experiments on American citizens without their informed consent.
The law lets an Institutional Review Board waive the normal consent requirement if they decide the study is no more than minimal risk.
Minimal risk means the risks are no greater than what you already face in daily life or routine exams and tests.
Translation: if the added risk is no higher than what you accept every day by driving, going out in public, social engagements, or routine doctor visits, they don't have to tell you or get your permission.
Everyday life includes the chance of death from car crashes, infections, or accidents. As long as the experiment stays at or below that level of risk you've already chosen by simply living, informed consent can be skipped.
So the government can run clinical experiments that carry a risk of death on American citizens without ever informing them or getting their consent.
This is not conspiracy theory. This is black-letter law passed by Congress and signed by the President.
The IRB decides. Not you.

This woman is refusing to check out of her hotel room, saying she extended her stay. The cops were called because of it. She argues she’s allowed to extend, but the hotel is full and nobody is guaranteed the room beyond what was booked. Why are people so entitled? Just get out and find another hotel room.

It was inspiring to watch the Artemis II launch yesterday — @NASA’s first crewed mission around the moon since 1972. Our space program has always captured an essential part of what it means to reach beyond what we thought was possible, and I hope the four brave astronauts on this mission will inspire a new generation to follow in their footsteps.

Irish PM Micheál Martin pushes back on Trump complaints about Keir Starmer, NATO, and Ukraine: "The transatlantic relationship between Europe and the US is very important…I do believe that [Starmer] is a very earnest, sound person…The Russians did invade Ukraine…The people of Ukraine just want peace and an opportunity to live."
