The way this guy analyzed Rockstar Mission Design needs to be studied… “open world but linear mission design with no real freedom” I think there’s a point here and hopefully GTAVI brings a lot of changes when it comes to missions… any thoughts? 🤔

I GET IT. I ACTUALLY GET IT. I GRABBED MORE.

Ouch 😬 Seems like Crimson Desert and Marathon have one thing (and only one thing) in common: The glazers saying "You gotta play for 100 hours and then it'll be fun, trust me bro" (not saying Fake Wizard is a glazer, appreciate his honest takes)

Yellow paint gamers be like: Pearl Abyss! Where do I go? Bad game. 🤡🤡🤡 This is a quest where you have to find out what happened to some farmer's cows. Count with me how many helpers there are on screen. Literally 6 helpers on screen pointing the way. Somehow not enough.

They were right... the first 8h suck... big time! and ... you just gotta push through... it actually does get better #CrimsonDesert

Crimson Desert (2026) vs RDR2 (2018)

In Crimson Desert, I had a quest to rescue a sheep. I could carry it while riding a horse!🥰

After wasting 20 minutes slamming his head into a boss with nothing but starter gear, Phil concludes that Crimson Desert is not a good game and rage quits.

Crimson Desert so far has felt like a better version of Dragon’s Dogma 2 in almost ever way

It has been frustrating seeing streamers who have never touched an MMO struggle with Crimson Desert. They get mad about nothing quests like “get two pieces of wood for blacksmith” when that’s very standard. I never had an issue with the quest design. It’s the controls i beef with

17 year old Treyvon Johnson lost his life breaking into houses. His family defends his actions by saying "how else is he going to get his money". Saying the homeowner went too far for protecting her property. "He was just robbing you, you didn't have to shoot him"

My sheer confusion at the 2:24 mark of this clip when someone in chat told me that people quit the game over this 'puzzle'. I have since been sent clips of people being lost, and uhhh... not to be a dick, but what???

10 hours into Crimson Desert and i might be done. The story is quite lterally just Jon Snow from Game of Thrones. It's so shallow and hard to be enthused by. You die, you come back to life, you build yourself back up in the north. You're guided by the white crow, you get a black crow ability, the first boss is King Joffrey... It's a shell of a game. There's very little real, fleshed out content and seriously the worst controls I've ever experienced in a videogame. It does a few things really well, but does loads of things badly. I want to persevere but really can't decide if it's worth it or not.

I’m 11 hours into Crimson Desert and it just introduced its second playable character with nearly zero context or fanfare. She’s just here now. This game’s story is practically back-to-back non sequiturs. Nothing can prepare you for how bad it is.
