Per @JakeLFischer | @TheSteinLine: • There has been no indication that the Hawks plan to pursue Giannis Antetokounmpo in a trade this summer. • Atlanta is not expected to aggressively spend on major roster additions, with the focus remaining on internal development and key decisions involving CJ McCollum, Jonathan Kuminga, and head coach Quin Snyder. • The Hawks’ lopsided Game 6 home loss to the Knicks is not expected to significantly alter the team’s offseason approach. • Hawks executive Bryson Graham remains a notable name in the Bulls’ search for a new head of basketball operations. Best teams in the NBA are OKC & the Spurs. Neither was assembled through spending in Free Agency. But Atlanta Hawks fans are going to tell you the Hawks are cheap and that’s why they lose. While simultaneously complaining about a $25 mil a year contract 😂

Right cause a team that traded 2 of their best 3 players mid season is supposed to be built for a championship. Any other team in that situation would be picking in the lottery except the Celtics 😂

When the last time we made the playoffs with Trae? Talking bout standards, we gave that nigga a pass for doing a bunch of nothing for years and being the main reason that our franchise still owes unprotected picks to the Spurs. Franchise was in the worst place they been in a long time cause they tried to make him happy.

TOOK OVER THEIR ARENA AGAIN

It was literally a Knicks home game no wonder Hawks got the belt so bad 💀

Trae would’ve NEVER let this team look so soulless

Stars want to play with other stars... Go get a star and others will come, look at the rest of the NBA and where stars are...

I see the Trae Young stans who try to act like Hawks fans waited for the team to falter and then show their true colors. I don’t hate Trae, I love the Hawks, these ppl trashing Jalen to pump up Trae can go buy Washington jerseys. I support the Hawks not one player who isn’t here

Gilbert Arenas says that defensive players that don’t score are more liability then offensive players that don’t play defense “Here’s why. If the guy guarding me. Say Dyson Daniels, he’s guarding me, picking me up full court. I average 30, right? I have the green light to shoot, meaning I’m going to work him to death with everything, right? Let’s say he gets the best of me and I score 22. Remember, I’m going hard on offense. I’m catching my breath on defense. YOU KNOW WHY? CUZ HE CAN’T SHOOT. HE CAN’T PLAY OFFENSE, WHICH MEANS I DON’T HAVE TO PLAY DEFENSE WHATSOEVER” (Via @NoChillGilZero)
