@atmoio Speeding humans up does still replace jobs, though. We don't really have many manufacturing jobs in the US anymore because of (relatively dumb) robots. However, it's unclear if AI is even speeding programmers up much at the moment. The evidence is pretty thin so far.

@luckenco The strange reality so far is that a lot of mediocre devs can't really even figure out how to use AI. IMHO it's actually hard to use and requires a fair amount of engineering skill and knowledge to make it work.

@LilithLovett You're trans so long as you identify with a different gender than the one you were assigned. After that, the specifics of what any given trans person needs and experiences can vary wildly for so many reasons. I don't know why there needs to be fights about this.

@agraybee I feel like at least 50% of Americans already think alien UFOs are real and the government hides this from us (for some reason?). So I'm not sure if the truth is that they definitely are or aren't real but either way half the population will be devastated.

@Moth_queenOmega @LilithLovett this is completely true, which is why i think wasting time fighting over it is a losing battle for trans activists. there will always be a line between you and c!s women, and that's ok. doesn't change what you should be able to do.

A 22 year old man dating a 16 year old girl is a predator, no matter how much you may like the man. A 16 year old girl is unable to consent to a relationship with a grown man. A 16 year old girl isn’t fast because of the grown man, the man is a predator. It doesn’t matter what a 16 year old girl is saying, doing, wearing, or alluding to. She is a child, and any grown man who feels they’re being “seduced” by a 16 year old is a predator.
