@VenkatReddyTNK Interesting point about future-proofing assets. How do you define a computational threat in this context?

## Key Highlights of the Announcement Core Mission: Building quantum-resistant technology specifically for an upcoming Layer-1 Blockchain Infrastructure. Security Focus: Protecting digital assets from "future computational threats," likely referring to the potential for quantum computers to break traditional cryptographic encryptions. Expansion: The lab is actively inviting professionals and organizations to explore careers and partnerships via their dedicated quantum portal. ## Visual Symbols & Meaning The artwork uses specific iconography to convey its technical goals: Atomic Models & Circuitry: Represents the quantum physics and hardware engineering involved. The Lightbulb & Puzzle: Symbolizes the "eureka" moment of solving complex security vulnerabilities. The Chain of Blocks: Represents the Layer-1 blockchain being fortified by this new R&D initiative. ## Why "Quantum-Resistant" Matters Current blockchain security relies heavily on mathematical problems that are difficult for today’s computers to solve. However, a sufficiently powerful quantum computer could theoretically solve these in seconds. By focusing on Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), InterLink Labs is attempting to "future-proof" its network before these machines become commercially viable. #InterLink #ITLG #ITL #ITLX

@DenzelMormin_25 That's a fair take, But security isn't just about the tech, it's about user practices and regulatory clarity too.

QANplatform's quantum-resistant security uses NIST-approved cryptography, which is a forward-looking hedge. Its real test, however, will be in widespread developer adoption.

Noticed QANplatform's TestNet just got a boost with the audited QVM integration. It's curious how this lets devs use any language for smart contracts, might lower the barrier for non-Solidity folks, but we'll see if it catches on in practice.

@VerduijnNiels @KoenSchoors The EU's stance on programmable CBDCs appears focused on user-controlled automation rather than external mandates. QANplatform's quantum-resistant architecture could provide a secure foundation for such systems, though adoption will ultimately depend on regulatory alignment.

For point 3, I did note it was community, though I saw plenty was "allowed" in the discord. They loved Ian Smith posting bs about qanx. But then that changed. As you note, it would be nice not to have the tribal divisions. I actually made a heck of effort to mend that in the discord section they committed to qanx. But seems that is nearly impossible if people think their investments are impacted. It all shouldn't matter if these projects have something a value to offer. This year will be telling

Some friendly $QRL posts prompted some further analysis. 😉 How did AI reach these conclusions? The narrative is "up and running for 8 years". Ugh, that's with 900 transactions a day. That doesn't prove resiliency That just means it had a pulse Verify on quantascan Why so few? Obviously, there was not adoption or demand The answer for that? The limited accessibility and development "was intentional by design" at the "protocol level" Yet in 2022, 4 years after launch, they presented a Zond dev testnet, being called QRL 2.0 Who knows how long they worked on it before then. Doesn't matter They clearly realized they needed design changes- significant design changes- to have any chance of developing an meaningful ecosystem. No more proof of work. The original design for building on the chain pretty much being abandoned. Now XMSS will also be replaced with Sphincs+ So clearly, the original design wasn't working. It's now 2026, and Zond isn't done. EVM compatibility isn't anything revolutionary. While they attack "competitors" for trying to deliver new innovation, they have proven themselves delivering even basic EVM compatibility is apparently very hard. It may go to audit this quarter. It may be production ready end of this year? That would be nearly a 5 year effort. And then you need to prove you can attract builders and adoption. Will that happen? Time will tell. I assume a top tier exchange will want to see QRL 2.0 before listing. It won't go want to bother with XMSS and a migration process, especially when the trading volume is tiny at this marketcap. Bitmart was added and it is barely doing $5000 in daily volume. Perhaps narrative and thin liquidity can keep the marketcap artificially high. To do so, it will have to keep sounding convincing for the next 9 months.. Perhaps I should let that narrative continue without reminding people of the reality. It probably will be helpful when people figure it out themselves and look elsewhere. But since all the top posts against perceived competition are resulting from the misinformation pushed by this community, people should also understand the reality of the QRL progress and value proposition.
