@joaquinbarroso When I do think one of my papers should be cited I try to find another paper by another group that also would be appropriate. That way I can give a couple of alternatives without being an ass.

I'm so mad. Once again, got a paper accepted, but Ref2 wants me to add 4 references all having a single author in common, whereas Ref1 suggests 6 with another common author! This unethical behavior should be stopped by the editors. Should I say who those authors are? Thoughts?

It’s kind of ironic how Bad Bunny was dancing on an electrical post at the Super Bowl halftime show. Puerto Rico isn’t exactly known for having reliable electricity. He could have highlighted the electrical grid crisis in PR and done some good with his platform, but he chose degeneracy!
