Welcome to 🇬🇾 Guyana, the 123rd member of the High Ambition Coalition for Nature and People. From 5 to 100 at CBD COP15, the momentum keeps growing. Stronger coordination with the Global Biodiversity Alliance will be key to delivering the Kunming-Montreal GBF Framework and T3.

📢 Major milestone for Somalia’s #30x30 journey! In January, Somalia convened a national INRM capacity-building workshop, supported by the HAC for N&P through the 30x30 Matchmaking Platform. 🎯 Building coordination, technical knowledge, and readiness for biodiversity action!

Thank you to all our member countries and partners who engaged in this year's annual meetings to discuss 2025 progress and 2026 priorities. Looking ahead, the HAC looks forward to continue collaborating, under the guidance of our members, to put these priorities into practice.

Exciting news! 🇫🇷🤝🇨🇷 French experts join Costa Rican teams to boost protected area monitoring + data systems through #HACforNP Matchmaking, igniting collaborative action for #30x30. Supported by and coordinated with @OFBiodiversite, @Ecologie_Gouv, @NatureXpairs, and @sinac_cr!

This gathering brought together Indigenous leaders, experts, policymakers, and advocates to foster stronger collaboration — aligning science, conservation, finance, law, policy, and frontline action to achieve #Target3.

It was a privilege connecting with many of our valued partners and supporters, and to participate in the dialogue “Leveraging 30x30 to Protect Oceans, Forests, and Indigenous and Local Community Territories from Extractive Industries.”
