A panel on Technical and Scientific Support Centres shared efforts on capacity building and technical assistance, policy and strategy development, monitoring and reporting, and regional cooperation.

On integrating Traditional Knowledge and other knowledge into monitoring systems, Maurizio Farhan Ferrari @ForestPeoplesP noted the Indigenous Navigator (an online data tool designed for and by #IndigenousPeoples) now includes a survey focused on the #GBF indigenousnavigator.org

An #agriculture #foodsystems roundtable discussed five key implementation challenges • resource gaps • social and political instability • data gaps • effective participation • lack of transparency Members urged countries adopt multi-sectoral approaches for updating #NBSAPs

A finance roundtable on how to mobilize national budgets for #biodiversity mainstreaming led to three recommendations • align NBSAPs and national development plans • reduce negative/increase positive incentives, esp. agriculture • use finance to better integrate #NBSAP & #NDC

On "Turning NBSAPs into Reality" Jazzy Rasolojaona @NaturalJustice urged integrating human rights-based approaches in planning/implementing #NBSAPs Musye Svieta Lucen Espinoza @gybn_peru highlighted that youth is a transversal community with much to contribute
