Earlier this week, supervisors met with all our D6 contract deputies. We are ensuring a strong district with clear expectations and communication. We will be strong district and engaged with our communities. We are D6.

District 6 is currently working a shooting scene near the intersections of Bammel N Houston & Kleinbrook Dr All parties are detained and there is no threat to the community. Please avoid the area as the scene is worked. Traffic will back up. Find alternate routes please

Update on our cute little rescue kitty. He is doing well in his new home and has a loving family. They named him Tahoe. Why that, well our deputies rescued him inside the engine area of a Tahoe where he had climbed up into. Great job once again to our deputies

Yesterday Deputy Rocha and Deputy Gallegos saved a kitten. They do it all these days. Don’t worry folks, the little guy has already found a new home and is being well taken care of.

Today we celebrated our administrative staff. So thankful to have these three women in District 6. They keep us running smoothly and ensure everything goes right. We are truly lost without them and we could not have asked for a better team. You 3 are rock stars!!! Thank you.

@HCSOTexas deputies responded to a complex at the 11300 block of Regency Green Drive. Preliminary: upon arrival, deputies found a deceased man with an apparent gunshot wound. One person is detained on-scene. CSI and Homicide detectives are responding. #HouNews

Today District 6 dropped by dispatch to help honor them as we celebrate this week. We sponsored our dispatcher today so they could throw a pie in the face of a supervisor and somehow it ended up in mine?! Deputy Orrson also took one from one of our dispatch supervisors. Fun times

Avoid the Veterans Memorial @ Bammel North Houston intersection. Road and Bridge are assessing a major sinkhole. Our deputies are assisting with traffic diversion. @HCSOTexas

This week our nation celebrates National Telecommunicators Week (#NPSTW). We in District 6 cannot be prouder to work along side so many amazing people Thank you for all you do. We made sure we got a head start on the week & surprised them with some cakes Saturday.

This week, Lt Baker met with our outstanding FTOs for District 6. The are tasked with training our new deputies. Meetings like these help provide guidance and ensure we are delivering the best to our rookies. This is where leadership begins.
