Unbelievable state of affairs at a Scottish GP Practice who bullied and threatened their excellent trainee Dr Tamara Ali with consequences - merely for showing solidarity with Palestine. Their issue? A tiny metal pin and a small desk flag in the corner of her room. Apparently that was "a terrorist flag". And it's getting worse. @wesstreeting is proposing to institute the Mann reforms into the GMC Draft order 2026 to make it easier to suspend humanitarians. Will you support us in opposing it?

Medical professionals are held to the highest standards of professionalism, compassion and respect for human life. It is therefore alarming to hear reports that a UK doctor registered with the General Medical Council, who has made dehumanising, violent and abhorrent comments about the killing of babies in Gaza, is now practising in Leicester. I share the concerns that have been raised with me by my constituents over the weekend and I am investigating this matter to ensure it is fully addressed.

Thats awful. I’m so sorry!! As a Scot who is unapologetically pro-Palestine, i’d have loved your flag and pin…and had i been a patient of yours hearing about this i would’ve submitted an email of complaint. I think given that Drs have been a major target during this genocide, its appalling that they’d take a complaint about a wee flag and a pin seriously….its not like you had a full size flag stuck on your wall? (I’d have loved that 😊) There’s a freaking genocide going on, so good luck, this targeting of people over small shows of solidarity is ridiculous!

@HCWsAC another follow-up. I tried again last night to make a donation, and this time it worked! Therefore probably a problem with my internet connection (it's been playing up recently). So perhaps I've been over-estimating the effect of the genocide-Zionist campaign (already bad enough).
