Recent research by @AssafOshri & Larry Sweet showed stress reactivity links child maltreatment (CM) to alcohol use in young adults. Higher distress tolerance (DT) can reduce this risk. DT-focused interventions might help lower alcohol use. More info: shorturl.at/gA7N8
