@lyssasphere I said yes but I think it’s more like our choices make us who we are and a lot of choices have few options. Still yes.

@The_Pilgrim67 @darwintojesus Why? People build things they don’t even own. This makes no sense, just because He created it doesn’t give Him any authority- He must have just done it for Himself. Many are rational, you just don’t like them. If all we have to go by is the Bible, He does change.

@HDYGTYQL @darwintojesus >By what authority does He give commands? As Creator He has all authority. 🤦🏻‍♂️ >That is one of many moral bases. The only rational one. >Do you think that the God depicted in the OT is as depicted in the NT? God does not change.

@The_Pilgrim67 @darwintojesus You seem to be having an emotional reaction to the morality base that I proposed- which fits my proposition. God is the might which makes right, you already suggested He cannot do wrong.

At what lengths could the group go to ensure its survival. If they believes that sacrificing a few children a year to its god would ensure their survival would that be okay. Come on. Think through what you're saying. You think this is a good strategy for society. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Might does not make right in theism. An omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, omni-benevolent God issues commands of right & wrong.

I just watched the Pierre Poilievre appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast and I have never felt more hope for Canada. Pierre has the vision, energy, and intelligence to fix what the liberals destroyed. You can feel the excitement growing.

@The_Pilgrim67 @darwintojesus The survival of the group. It’s super boring, I know, it’s not about correct or true it’s just about the survival of the group. It’s more like peer pressure but yes, as with theism, it appears might makes right; unlike theism the might is the group and not an authoritarian.

Can you put that in relation to my last question. How are chemical reactions related to a qualia like smell to cause an emotion. How do you relate this to sociopaths or psychopaths who get their kicks by murdering or harming people? How are they responsible for their acts if it's just chemicals. They are simply responding to some external stimuli or random event. I don't think they found a free will center in the brain. Also, their acts make them feel good, so they seek more of it. Your act makes you feel good so you seek more of it. I don's see how you make a moral distinction. Are you sure you're thinking this through.
