This week in English, we recreated an air raid and then networked to create powerful descriptive phrases to use in our writing. @HFL8_English

Today we read The Rhyming Rabbit and talked about our favourite poems in the story. Then we played pass the parcel with nursery rhymes and added music to our rhymes #nurseryrhymes #PoetryDay @HFL8_English

In our shared reading sessions we have been looking at different poems this week. Today we performed a poem called The Sun is a Jack-in-the-box by Valerie Bloom @HFL8_English #WorldPoetryDay

We have had an amazing turnout at our school book fair. Thank you to all our families who have supported it by purchasing a book. We have raised £260 to buy new books for the school library and for your children to enjoy @HolyFamilyL8_RD @Scholastic #welovereading
