Looking forward to Argentina vs Spain - I believe it will be very interesting from a fitness perspective. They've played many games over the last five weeks. By the time of the World Cup final, players are competing with accumulated fatigue, muscle damage, and reduced recovery capacity, even though they may appear physically sharp. Elite conditioning, nutrition, and recovery protocols help them perform at the highest level, but no athlete is fully recovered after five weeks of tournament football. Adrenaline and competitive focus temporarily suppress pain and fatigue during the match. The final is as much a test of resilience and recovery as it is of talent. Once the final whistle blows, the body's true exhaustion and emotional intensity become fully clear.

Everyone is talking about the technical aspects of the World Cup from a player's perspective. No one is discussing the fitness aspect, which I think is more interesting and more important for the final four games. @FIFAWorldCup

Game: Argentina versus England. What a great match! The Argentinians matched the English in physical fitness, cardio endurance, and mental toughness, and also demonstrated slightly better coordination and explosiveness — the ability to exert maximum muscular force in the shortest possible time. My opinion on the game France vs Spain was featured on LinkedIn News. After watching the game between France and Spain, I can't help but notice either that France played their worst game in this World Cup (maybe ever) or that they are completely exhausted. That kind of “performance” is usually linked to chronic exhaustion. As a fitness expert, it's clear that, in this World Cup, conditioning coaches either missed a class on muscle recovery or don't understand what that means. Football teams, in general, don't have good fitness experts who understand performance and recovery. They are usually mini football coaches with some knowledge of fitness. It is more than obvious that this World Cup has shown the football world needs true fitness experts with a full understanding of human anatomy and muscle performance. Also, this World Cup has revealed just how many players are clearly faking injuries. Such behavior should be penalized with a yellow card! Enough of these acting performances by the fittest athletes in the world. Congratulations to 🇪🇸 for playing excellently.
