I think in certain circumstances people should have the right to die with dignity, but it must be very heavily controlled. I am talking several psychiatric evaluations, different professionals, safeguarding measures and they must be completely sound of mind. I speak from the point of view of a daughter that watched my Dad die very slowly and he wanted death to come. It was awful watching every last bit of his dignity be stripped away piece by piece. We put animals to sleep to end their suffering, we should allow humans the same. But this should not be allowed to become a way to 'deal' with elderly relatives, or people that can not afford healthcare. There must be very very strict processes and safety measures put in place.

Spoke with an old Facebook friend the other day. She was going on about how brilliant Carney is and how Canada is now on the right path under his leadership. This is the same person who defended everything Trudeau did and took every covid booster. These are the people who are the biggest threat to Canada. The road to hell is paved with blind obedience masked as good intentions.

Serious, honest, question: Who is going to deploy capital in Canada, when Gary can appoint inspectors to break into their data centers and take any data they want without a warrant? All it takes is 1 to be a spy. They can move 40 minutes south and NOT have to deal with this.

I’m sad I’m being forced to campaign to remain in my own country. I get emotional thinking of all the reasons I love 🇨🇦 & how proud I am of my nationality. But mostly I’m furious at Smith & her UCP. Didn’t run on it. No mandate. Undemocratic. AWFUL.

@ESpeaksFreely Exactly - my infertility is a biological issue - same as the fact that I’m nearsighted. Neither changes the fact that I’m a woman. Also doesn’t change the fact that a human with XY chromosomes, no ovaries & no uterus is not a woman.

I'm getting bored of this argument. Not ALL women get pregnant, but ONLY women CAN get pregnant. When debating this topic I've been faced with this exact stupidity. If a woman is medically unable to have a baby, you know that something has gone wrong (an illness, injury or condition, etc) and NO this is not me saying those women are 'wrong' in a derogatory sense (which was also thrown at me when debating this topic) what I mean is that if a person is born with 3 legs, we can conclude that some kind of deformity has taken place during development or otherwise, we don't start raving about the 'new species of human' we've just discovered, because we know humans are supposed to have 2 legs. Back to pregnancy, women are literally designed to create and bring forth life, men are designed to fertilise an egg but not to carry that life inside them, or birth it, or breastfeed it. If any of that offends you or makes you as a 'trans woman' feel inferior to, or to use your term, 'othered' from biological women, that is because you simply cannot accept that you were born a man. That is YOUR problem and yours alone. To sum up: Men are men, women are women, only women can get pregnant and menstruate, trans is a mental illness, non-binary is nonsensicle and makes no sense. Have a nice day.

Being biologically female means having a body that is observably organised to produce large gametes (eggs), as opposed to a body organised to produce small gametes (sperm). A woman is female whether her eggs have been fertilised or not. A man can never be female.

This sounds very scientific, but it’s actually been proven by social scientists and other experts that womanhood is really just a feeling. It’s all so complicated that gender cannot be observed from the outside and only an individual can say what a woman is through self-identification

@jk_rowling As an a WOMAN with infertility with unknown causes - I am in no way offended by this. We have ability to get pregnant- but some of us have medical Conditions that do not allow it. Being male isn’t a medical condition - it’s a biological reality.
