Former @HHornets and @MoodyBearcats HFC Larry Baggerly died Monday. Baggerly, a recent @TDTSports Sunday column mention, led Holland from 1971-77 and Moody from 1981-83. His record was 47-51. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. He was 75.

Holland will be in the Rockdale tournament tomorrow. Team will report to the field house at 10:30 am

Hornets win today 15-3 and score the first 10 runs with 2 outs in the 4th. Frei had 2 triples. Morris and Botts both pitched well. Hornets are now 1-0 in district play. Last tournament starts Thursday

The Hornets won this morning against McGregor 15-3 behind Tomasek’s 3 hits and Pursche’s 4 RBi

Holland wins their first game this morning 12-1 against Florence. Pursche and Frei both hit homeruns to start off the tournament. The Hornets will play Mumford at 3 to end today’s games

Pursche and Tomasek both hit grand slams to lead the Hornets to a 15-2 win. Good pitching by Burton who didn’t give up a run after the 1st inning.
