We really enjoyed reading the kindest red for world hijab day

It was such an joy to read ‘The Kindest Red’ with the children after school yesterday in honour of World Hijab Day. The children shared their experiences of wearing a hijab and the pride they felt wearing it!

To celebrate World Hijab Day, we shared the story 'The Kindest Red,' and the children expressed their pride in wearing their hijab to school today. It was a heartwarming end to the day.

Year 3 spent their RE lesson creating rangoli patterns using coloured rice ahead of our Diwali celebrations this week. They loved creating them! @HJAMrHughes

Year 1 expertly used aerial photographs and directional language to locate human and physical features in the local area of Humberstone! There was quite a bit of walking but the children were very excited to be Geographers! #excellence #positivity

Today in Maths, we were ordering objects in groups from the fewest to the most! #excellence #resilience
