@MONOMUKUNDU yah vakomana vanobata ma notes avo, regai Macheso and his band vari the torch bearers kusungra, they really revolutionarised the sungura beat and guitar playing style
When I began teaching my son Takakunda guitar, he was focused solely on Jazz. I advised him to learn everything & be a complete session guitarist .Now he plays any genre, that's him on guitar with his friend Naph on bass playing some Macheso.
@chigodwe@HMetro_@restmutore check for a song called mira pako and another one called mwambo, 2017 production, macheso, zaka zaka and nicholas zakaria collaborated there
@FikilewaaAfrica@HMetro_ saka kana mafans vabvunza kuti aripi waida atii, in any case he said ini handitoziviwo zvakawanda kuti aripi management ndoingatoziva zvakawanda, kana akatyora mitemo management ndiyo inopa zvirango and bepa ndobasa raro kushambadza end of story

#Jungleman
@SunguraCentral One unknown fact about this guy is that he actually wasn’t a Wezhira
His real name was Fanuel Mukaweya Milanzi. Tazvida was his mother’s surname the same surname used by his muzukuru King Tazvida. Isaac Tazvida was his young brother and Peter Tazvida half brother
“Huni Nyoro Mumoto…”
A very shy System Tazvida on Ezomgido, 1998.
With him on that brilliant album were Lucky Mumiriki (rhythm), Peter Tazvida (bass), Leroy Lunga (lead)
@werutanga@dollow10@SunguraCentral lol it's in human nature kutsvaga nhongwa always, saMacheso popularised the idea of making known all the band members instead of the band leader being the only one hogging the the limelight and i believe it was his idea of doing a song called Khiama were each member did a solo
Alick Macheso >> Noel Nyazanda >> Lucky Mumiriki >> Innocent Mijuntu. Obert Gomba on drums! Men at work 🔥🔥🔥
One of the greatest sequences in Zim music ever.
@dollow10@SunguraCentral it was mentioned on the last roll or final part of the song 'Obert Gomba mabhana'n'ana kwa Uzumba', play the original song and listen towards the conclusion or end of the song.
Did you know Don Williams once did a song with the Bhundu Boys?
His 1992 song “In the Family” features Dobbie Gray on backing vocals.
On the instruments were the Bhundu Boys (Sheperd Munyama, Kenny Chitsvatsva, Rise Kagona and Shakie Kangwena)
I enjoyed performing with my son at Jacaranda Music fest. Problem is he now wants to come to every show! Mmmm ngaambotanga apedza kunyora maCALA🤔 hanti?🤨
