I’ve never been the biggest Lebron fan but anybody saying his career as a Laker so far hasn’t been a major flop is doing a disservice to LeBron. Obviously we’re not counting the micky mouse And 1 Bubble tournament as a real title. So we’re judging him on just his ability to make the playoffs for a cup of coffee? To never be a real threat? Meanwhile MJ and Russell were winning titles at his age not just being cannon fodder for their opponents. So out of respect for LeBron and his legacy I refuse to describe his time in LA as anything other than a complete and utter failure. After all this was his longest consecutive tenure with any team and he didn’t win a title. He’s basically Clyde Drexler or Karl Malone Great players in their own right that never won.
LeBron doesn’t even make the roster of all time Laker greats. It’s an insult to his legacy and the legacy of a top 5 player of all time to say his tenure in LA was successful. Although I suppose if he truly was a top 5 all time player would have probably won in LA right? Hmm. Tough to wrap my brain around it.

Every time I walk through downtown Indianapolis I’m reminded of what a poor job the city has done addressing homelessness.
Residents should not have to worry about being yelled at by adult men or stepping over them sleeping just to use the sidewalk.
Allowing visible signs of public disorder is anti-family. As is not addressing why these people are homeless in the first place.

This sounds cool. But wait.
400 diapers will last a family with a newborn approximately five weeks.
The program will cost the state approx. $12.4 million this year alone.
That money will be funneled through a company called Baby2Baby, which will then provide their branded diapers to 400 participating in hospitals (California has over 500 hospitals in total.)
Meaning that instead of lowering taxes and letting families keep their own money to buy essentials like diapers, California takes their money, pumps it through a “nonprofit” that has overhead and whose CEO made $240,000 in 2024, to provide a “free” service available only in certain locations, and that you could have bought yourself for much cheaper.

Penalty for Cameron Young on the second. 😳 He said that the ball moved slightly forward after he addressed it, but he was unsure if his action caused it to move. The rules officials determined he caused his ball to move, and he was assessed a one-stroke penalty. He was the only person who saw the ball move, but he still called the rules official over.
