How good is this? 1 week ago fractured neck of femur. Now walking to the day room and playing piano. Brilliant orthopaedic management all round 👏 @Airedaleahps @AiredaleNHSFT consent gained.

Said patient loved using the motomed bike in the gym. She wanted to make sure those who weren't able to come down had a chance to have cycling as part of their rehab as she found it so beneficial 🚲

The lovely Valley View physiotherapists @AGHRehabAThome recently received a mini exercise bike, to be used for patient rehabilitation 🚲 The bike was purchased using funds donated by a former patient 🧡 #careforairedale @AiredaleNHSFT @Airedaleahps @AiredaleMsk

Despite it causing an absolute parking nightmare on my street, I'm so happy to see so many people going to get their vaccine/booster today 💉

Positives need to be louder than negatives. I have decided to focus on the positives today. Today, multiple patients thanked me for my input and the impact I have had on their rehab 💪🏻 I will never take this recognition of my work for granted

Can any of my #AHP colleagues help with guidelines for following hip precautions in trusts around the Yorkshire area. Particularly if they have been removed for total hip replacements. TIA xx

After spending the last 2 years in the amazing cardioresp team, I am going back onto rotations. I have had the best time and will miss everyone I have worked with, but am excited to see what rotations will teach me @Airedaleahps #respisbest

A teacher once told me that doing a physio degree would close too many doors for me, despite me deciding I wanted to be a physio at 14. I'm glad I ignored him. It has its tough days, but I have never regretted doing it and I've now been working 3 years in my dream job #WorldPTDay

Definitely ready for my annual leave next week after a patient (who I have worked with for weeks) turned to me today and told me I looked rough and asked if I needed to sit down 🤦🏼‍♀️ I told her that I'm off next week and then she understood completely

Someone giggled at me once when I was doing a deep suction with a patient who was sedated and paralysed, and said 'let's have a cough'. I told them why I said it and that I won't stop saying it, it doesn't matter whether they will cough or not.

One time I said hello and introduced myself to an intubated, unconscious patient in the ICU. Someone else scoffed/giggled. I then proceeded to explain to the patient every step of the procedure we did. No regrets.
