GAME-DAY AT ALLPAY PARK. Today we host @MangotsfieldUtd at Allpay Park 3pm kick‑off⚽️ Bar66 will be open from 12.30pm, showing @Arsenal 🆚 @afcbournemouth , serving its famous @Hfds_meats 🥧 and a full range of hot and cold drinks from both the indoor bar and the outdoor Bolthole. But today carries a weight none of us expected. On Friday, we lost our Development Team Manager, Jordan Baker, who sadly took his own life. A true Westfields man, loved across every corner of the club, from his days as a junior under Martin Pearce and Mark Penson, to reserve‑team goalkeeper under Paul Boulton, and most recently as player‑manager alongside his close friend Karl Lugg. Together they kept the Devs alive, building a pathway for our 16s, 17s and 18s and blending in experience from those who knew and respected Jordan personally. His loss has shaken us along with his family & friends deeply, our thoughts go out to them today😔 Before kick‑off, we will come together as one club and one community: a minute’s applause to honour Jordan, followed by a minute’s silence to reflect. We invite everyone to join us, stand with us, and share this moment. We Are Westfields together in celebration, together in heartbreak, together always💙💜 Football feels irrelevant at times like this. But Jordan loved this club. He loved the people, the laughs, the matchdays, the beers, the camaraderie. If the Devs weren’t playing, he’d have been here today, watching the game and enjoying the day with the rest of us giving his close friend Bolty and the bar staff some stick. His passing is a painful reminder that struggles can be hidden, even from those who care deeply around them. Support groups like @andysmanclubuk Hereford, who meet every Monday at 7pm at Allpay Park, exist for exactly this reason — to give men a place to talk, to be heard, and to not carry things alone, if you know someone that needs help please reach out to them. Today, we play the game. But more importantly, we look after each other. #Fields 🙏
