Great to see refurbishment & impressive work on employment at HMP Liverpool today. Securing a job after release helps to cut crime and transforms lives. Good to attend Merseyside criminal justice board too, bringing together agencies across the system to serve the public better.

We welcomed #Marstonsplc for a recruitment session with prisoners, they are looking to provide employment opportunities for them from within the prison, ready for their release. This is a welcomed, forward thinking initiative from all at #Marstonsplc & our Prison Employment lead

As part of the unlocking construction event, several companies spent time with us, interviewing prisoners who are ready for release in the coming months with a view to providing employment opportunities in construction. We salute and thank you for supporting us & our prisoners

The PE Department ran a Staff v Prisoners 12 Hour 5-a-side Football Match to raise funds for @ricelaneprimary Staff played teams from all 8 units. This was a demanding challenge which raised £1300 most of the money was raised by prisoners & supported by @OfficialPSCF 👏👏⚽️

Last month @HMP_Liverpool held a prisoner cake sale to raise money for the Sefton Community Pantry. @OfficialPSCF kindly matched this and today our Assistant Secretary, Emily presented the cheque to the pantry along with Governor, Dave McGurrell.

So proud of everything we’re doing with the RED Caravan. Yesterday we visited HMP Liverpool sharing the project with 30 prisoners. We shared the exhibition, had a penalty shoot out & facilitated an art workshop where they designed their own ‘banner’ tote bag…❤️ @HeritageFundNOR
