I love Tielemans, I know him since he signed for Anderlecht. With him and Andrey Santos, you can see they want to build a hybrid midfield, but somehow I am sad that we are funding their Manzambi transfer.

Yes, and there is no comparison with Southgate for me, where I could barely watch a game. People don’t rate Tuchel because he’s actually taking players who are in form and/or fit his system (Stones for example), and not just superstars. And if he wins the WC, I can’t see anyone matching this performance in the next 10 years.

Interesting one. He’s almost 29. If they came in with £30-35m+, I wouldn’t be against letting him go. Otherwise no. Don’t think you’re going to get a replacement who’s better for cheaper. He gives you versatility - can play on the left and on the right. Outstanding technician. Only reason I’d not be against a sale is because he’s not the most athletic. But all in all, very good squad player. Not surprised an Italian team wants him. He’d do very well in Serie A, I believe. #mufc
