Responsible governments take decisions which always put national security and resilience first. That is what the UK Government has done. Playing politics with national security is deeply irresponsible.

@Dreghorn_lad @JohnSwinney Partly answers point 1. No GERS in indy SCO, all income is retained. no deficit. Deficit shown in GERS is an attribution from UK Gov spending, SCO cannot have debt or deficit, not allowed to.

@Dreghorn_lad @JohnSwinney To your last point, the "union dividend" will not be lost. This is our money that is fed into UK Treasury. Indy SCO would retain everything so that money will be retained here, not lost, surely.
