Delivered through a collaborative design‑build approach, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation I‑95 Viaduct Northbound project reimagines a complex interchange to create safer, more intuitive movements, reduce congestion and improve the daily driving experience for hundreds of thousands of motorists. The Crosslake Connection is officially open — completing @SoundTransit's 2 Line and introducing the world’s first light rail service operating on a floating bridge. Connecting Seattle, Mercer Island, Bellevue and Redmond, the fully operational 2 Line expands access to jobs, education and cultural destinations across the region, with frequent peak‑period service throughout the central corridor. Congratulations to Sound Transit and the entire project team on this historic milestone. As Sound Transit continues advancing its vision for a more connected regional transit system, HNTB looks forward to continuing its partnership to deliver safe, reliable and community-focused transportation infrastructure.

Working for IndyCar, HNTB coordinated with the @CityOfArlington, @TxDOT and event organizers to rapidly design roadway improvements and a double-sided pit lane encircling AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field. Leveraging LiDAR technology with our team partner @SAMCOMPANIES and a highly integrated design team, we delivered precise, high-performance solutions tailored to the technical requirements of INDYCAR racing.

The South Dade TransitWay Bus Rapid Transit corridor provides fast, reliable service along a 20-mile route connecting communities from Dadeland South to Florida City. Designed to deliver a premium rider experience with modern stations and improved travel times, the corridor supports the county’s SMART Plan vision for expanded transit options and regional connectivity. In partnership with @GoMiamiDade, HNTB supported the project through construction, engineering and inspection services, design coordination and stakeholder engagement, helping deliver a safe, efficient mobility solution that improves the daily commute for thousands of riders. Designed by HNTB in collaboration with BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, the 33,000-seat enclosed ballpark balances climate response, intimacy and flexible social experience. The @KDOTHQ’s first price‑managed lanes project, U.S. 69 Express Lanes, is now open, marking a major milestone for one of the region’s most heavily traveled corridors. HNTB served as KDOT’s project management consultant, supporting delivery of the largest project in the agency’s history. Delivered in partnership with the @KansasTurnpike and @opcares and constructed by a joint venture of Ames Construction and @ESS_emerysapp, the project enhances mobility, improves safety and advances infrastructure performance along the state’s busiest four‑lane highway.
