@daily_turnip Many quirks are preserved through what's called goroawase, where numbers are substituted for characters. Terezi above says "た４かに" using the Japanese word たしかに (tashikani) (surely, certainly) and replacing the し (shi) with a 4 because 4 is pronounced shi in Japanese.

@szsnw are quirks translated at all? ive always been curious about how the trolls typing styles could be translated in different ways, im assuming the easiest would be through dialects and pronouns
